Art Exploration: Fall Colors, Mondays Sept. 8 - Oct. 13, 5:00-6:30pm, Ages 5-8

Kids will explore art that celebrates fall colors in this fun class! From fall leaves to pumpkins to hoot owls, kids will learn how to draw a beautiful fall scene. They will learn new techniques and ways of creating with traditional art materials. Each class will explore new and different projects, so no Art Exploration class session is ever the same!
Anime & Cartooning, Tuesdays, Sept. 9 - Oct. 14, 5:00 - 6:30pm, Ages 8 - 14

Calling all Anime fans! Learn to draw your favorite characters and create new characters of your own. You will design your own stickers, Pokemon trading cards, keychains and more!
Teen Open Studio, Wednesdays Sept. 10 - Oct. 15, 5:30 - 7:00pm, Ages 11-18

Give your artist the time they need to focus on what keeps their creativity ticking. Students can focus on their favorite drawing and painting styles and work on their own projects. We will help them sharpen their technique and skills while they create their own masterpieces!
Adult Open Studio, Wednesdays Sept. 10 - Oct. 15, 7pm - 9pm

Explore the painting media of your choice – this is your studio time. Work will be supervised and help will be given at the student’s own level. Instructor and student will discuss an initial plan and the instructor will help facilitate the student’s creativity. The instructor will help the student to brainstorm and introduce new methods and ideas as possible choices prior to beginning artwork. Depending on the student’s level and needs, guidance will be given to the students to help them organize a well-thought-out plan. Consideration will be given to composition, color, texture, perspective, shadow, and light. Ideal for students working on a portfolio or needing professional studio time.

Mixed Media Art, Thursdays Sept. 11 - Oct. 16, 5:00-6:30pm, Ages 8-14

Learn how to enhance your paintings using mixed media techniques. This fun class will explore a variety of media including art paper, cardboard, glitter, sequins and more. You will be delighted with the results!
Drawing Techniques I, Saturdays Sept. 13 - Oct. 18, 10am - 11:30am, Ages 8-14

Ages: 8 - 14
Students will learn how to break objects down into simple shapes and add shading to create textures and 3-D effects. We will also focus on proportions and perspective. Students will look at different drawing styles for inspiration in creating artworks.
Supply List: Please bring an 11x14 in. Strathmore sketchbook to class. These are available at area craft stores such as Michael's or Hobby Lobby.
Mini Masters Art, Saturdays Sept. 13 - Oct. 18, 10:00-11:30am, Ages 5-8

We will explore many different types of art in this fun class! Kids will learn new techniques and ways of creating with traditional art materials. Each project will be inspired by a different master artist, technique, or style. We teach different master artists and techniques in each session of this class, so no two sessions of this class are ever the same!
