Learn how to draw your favorite characters as well as develop cartoon characters of your own, using cartoon drawing techniques. This covers a broad range of skills such as facial and body proportions, and how to illustrate movement and facial expressions.

Explore the painting media of your choice – this is your studio time. Work will be supervised and help will be given at the student’s own level. Instructor and student will discuss an initial plan and the instructor will help facilitate the student’s creativity. The instructor will help the student to brainstorm and introduce new methods and ideas as possible choices prior to beginning artwork. Depending on the student’s level and needs, guidance will be given to the students to help them organize a well-thought-out plan. Consideration will be given to composition, color, texture, perspective, shadow, and light. Ideal for students working on a portfolio or needing professional studio time.

Kids will have fun adding different types of mixed media to their paintings to make unique artworks. Media includes modeling paste, cardboard, clay, wood, glitter, sequins, the possibilities are endless!

Kids will have fun using different types of mixed media techniques from the masters to make artwork. Media includes modeling paste, paper, clay, wood, glitter, tiles and more. During every 6-week session, we will study two different famous artists, so no two sessions of this popular class are the same!
