Mini Masters Art, Ages 5-8, 10:00-11:30am, Saturdays February 22 - April 5

Ages: 5 - 8

*There is no class on Sat., March 29 due to Spring Break.

We will explore many different types of art in this fun class! Kids will learn new techniques and ways of creating with traditional art materials. Each project will be inspired by a different master artist, technique, or style. We teach different master artists and techniques in each session of this class, so feel free to register again!

 

Youth Open Studio, 10:00-11:30am, Saturdays February 22 - April 5, Ages 8-16

Give your artist the time they need to focus on what keeps their creativity ticking. Students can focus on their favorite drawing and painting styles and work on their own projects. We will help them sharpen their technique and skills while they create their own masterpieces!

Drawing & Painting Techniques, Mondays April 7 - May 12, 5:00pm - 6:30pm, Ages 8-14

Ages: 8 - 14

Learn new drawing and painting techniques to enhance your artwork! We will use pen, pencil, palette knife, sponges and other tools to add exciting details to your drawings and paintings. You will be surprised and delighted at the results! We will work on several exciting new projects in each session of this class, so no two sessions are ever alike.

Imagination Studio, Mondays April 7 - May 12, 5:00 - 6:30pm, Ages 6 - 9

Let your creativity soar! Students will be given a choice each week of an art project to work on, or, they may continue a previous masterpiece. Styles and mediums will vary, but fun is guaranteed!

Art Exploration: Spring Scenes, Tuesdays April 8 - May 13, 5:00-6:30pm, Ages 5-8

Kids will explore art that celebrates the return of spring in this fun class! From budding branches to singing birds and buzzing bees, there is so much to enjoy about spring. Kids will learn new techniques and ways of creating with traditional art materials. Each class will explore new and different projects, so no Art Exploration class session is ever the same!

Teen Open Studio, Wednesdays April 9 - May 14, 5:30 - 7:00pm, Ages 11-18

Explore the painting media of your choice – this is your studio time. Work will be supervised and help will be given at the student’s own level. Instructor and student will discuss an initial plan and the instructor will help facilitate the student’s creativity. The instructor will help the student to brainstorm and introduce new methods and ideas as possible choices prior to beginning artwork. Depending on the student’s level and needs, guidance will be given to the students to help them organize a well-thought-out plan. Consideration will be given to composition, color, texture, perspective, shadow, and light. Ideal for students working on a portfolio or needing professional studio time.

Adult Open Studio, Thursdays April 10 - May 15, 3pm - 5pm
