Explore the painting media of your choice – this is your studio time. Work will be supervised and help will be given at the student’s own level. The instructor will help the student to brainstorm and introduce new methods and ideas as possible choices prior to beginning artwork. Depending on the student’s level and needs, guidance will be given to the students to help them organize a well-thought-out plan. Consideration will be given to composition, color, texture, perspective, shadow, and light. Ideal for students working on a portfolio or needing professional studio time.

Get ready for a fun and colorful adventure into the world of animals! This painting class, designed especially for kids ages 5-8, will spark their creativity as they learn how to paint their favorite animals, ranging from playful puppies to jungle lions to fantasy creatures like dragons and unicorns! All animals can be broken down into basic shapes that will help students draw the basic outlines of any critter. We will show them how to draw feathers, fur, scales and other animal features, resulting in beautiful lifelike paintings! 

Calling all Pokemon and Anime fans!! Learn to draw your favorite characters and create new characters of your own. We will cover a broad range of skills such as facial and body proportions, body poses, and how to illustrate movement and facial expressions. Increase your knowledge of these cartooning styles while you create exciting drawings in this fun class!

Learn how to enhance your paintings using mixed media techniques. This fun class will explore a variety of media including art paper, cardboard, modeling paste, glitter, sequins and more. You will be delighted with the results!

Students will learn how to break objects down into simple shapes and add shading to create textures and 3-D effects. We will also focus on proportions and perspective. Students will look at different drawing styles for inspiration in creating artworks. The first 3 weeks of the class will focus on drawing, and the last 3 weeks will focus on painting.

We will explore 2D and 3D art in this fun class! Kids will learn new techniques and ways of creating with traditional art materials. Each project will be inspired by a different master artist, technique, or style. We teach different master artists and techniques in each session of this class, so no two sessions of this class are ever the same!
